Premiums



The 'experienced based rating' system, which is used to calculate your WorkCover premium, takes into account statutory and common law claims for the previous five years.

This means that all payments made on your behalf by WorkCover Qld will ultimately affect your premium. Increases due to high common law claims can literally cripple a company and affect company profits dramatically.

Prompt Investigation Service



If you believe that a worker is likely to pursue common law proceedings then Wham Solutions can assist you by offering a prompt independent investigation service.

Our investigators are specialists in dealing with workers compensation claims, and will provide an independent, fair and impartial investigation.

These investigations involve taking statements from the claimants and witnesses while the incident is still fresh in everyone’s mind, not several years later when litigation has progressed into its final stages.

We also act quickly to ensure the preservation of evidence, should it be required at a later stage.

We are available to represent you, the employer in conferences and settlements where you are not able to be present.
